Merivale Community Centre

Te Whare Maanakitia Trust – The Merivale Community Centre.

Currently in Developed design stage Tectum Consulting is managing the development of a Community Centre for the Merivale suburb of Tauranga.

The current community centre is based in Kesteven Street and is an old 1950’s home that has been converted for purpose however the new proposed building of approximately 700m2 will be a superb facility for the community. Providing spaces for multi-purpose, learning, technology, child care and music are features of the building.

This is a community based project made possible with the generosity of significant funding from Tauranga City Council.

Anticipated opening Mid 2021.
